It is good to have a share social button on your website because it will lead to more traffic to your website or post. This tutorial will show you how to create a floating social share button without using any plugin with Elementor builder. You can watch the video on my channel by clicking the button below.
In the backend of the WordPress website. Go to Template >> Popup >> then click “add new” on the top.
Name your popup with any name then click “create template“.
Close the recommended popup template then start a custom popup.
Search widget “share buttons” on Elementor then drag it to the section.
After that, you can add the social media you want by clicking ADD ITEM button
For the View, Skin, and Shape you can play around to get what design you want but the Columns option set it to 1. target URL >> current page
So that’s it for setting social button widget.
Custom Popup
Click the setting icon in the left corner of the builder to access the popup setting
After you access the popup setting, you can follow my setting below or you can adjust it as you want
Setting Tab
With: 60px
Height: Fit To Content
Horizontal: left
Vertical: center
Overlay: Hide
Close Button: Hide
Entrance Animation: Slide in Left
Exit Animation: Fade Out Left
Animation Duration (sec): 1.2
Advanced Tab
Prevent Closing on ESC key: Yes
Then click the Publish button.
Setup Publish
In the Conditions tab >> Include: Entire site. You can choose singular to specific page to show up.
In the Triggers >> turn on On Page Load >> within (sec) : 1 second.
Click next then Save & Close
