This topic today I want to share is how to create Age Verification for restricted websites. If you are selling alcohol or vapes in some countries, the government always asks you to put age verification before letting customers enter your website. In a country like Canada, the government’s law is even harder. They want website owner has to have a select province because each province has different laws about age verification.

If you are in that situation to make the website, you come to the right place. I will share with you about the plugin Age Gate as well as its extension, and my CSS code if you want to use it, so let do it together.

Configuration

After installing 2 plugins, you will see on the left sidebar show “Age Gate”. You right now can start adding restricted age for your website.

To add a headline, sub-headline, or content you should visit Messaging tab

To add age verification for the region, visit the region option. Here, you can click the button “add region manually” or “bulk add” by clicking the drop-down on the right site.

You can also visit the form option to custom Placement, Label text, and Placeholder text like my sample.

Custom Style

To custom background and add logo >> Please visit Appearance.
In this tutorial, I use my logo, so I choose this color code (#3e4f61) for the background & foreground. Also, I use text color is white.

I also add my CSS code to custom the form more professional. You can also do it by yourself and add it in the Advance >> Custom CSS. You can use my CSS below to make the process faster.
